Google’s changing logo

December 18, 2006

Personally I like Google. Their approach to business and clever, useful (and free) tools are a refreshing change. One of the things that makes me like them even more is their use of the logo. No overly draconian rules on what can and cannot be done with the logo, when there’s a special event, or holiday, their logo changes.

Can you guess who’s birthday this one is for?

Song of the Day - Desperately Wanting by Better Than Ezra

December 18, 2006

Not much to say about these guys, a great band and a great track.

Better Than Ezra is an alternative rock trio based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Formed in 1988, the band has released five studio albums and one live album. They are best known in the United States for their platinum album Deluxe and their top 40 hit “Good”. Their peak of popularity was in the early 1990s, but the band is still popular on American adult album alternative radio stations.

To everyone who has entered any of our competitions, please remember to verify your entry and email subscription. If it’s too frequent for you, you can always subscribe to our RSS feed, this article explains what RSS is and how you can use it. Feel free to comment below, thank you!

Please let me know of any errors and omissions, or if there are any other features that you would like to see using the comments form below. I will soon be adding whether the site allows “Quick Capture” and if they have built-in blogs. Check back later in the week for the release of the eBook! Update: This is now available here.

Thanks: The matrix partly takes data from an old Techcrunch post so partial credit to their excellent site. Thanks to FresHDV for the link to this article, and to Dean at Ideas and Thoughts from an EdTech for the original suggestion. Work in progress….
