According to a group of scientists (who else?), the world’s approaching energy crisis could be solved in an envrionmentally friendly way - with lasers.
Using nuclear fission in the same way that occurs in the sun, the reactions could provide “unlimited energy”. It’s all a bit complicated, so please follow the link to read about it in more detail.
