We have previously written about Sellaband that allows you to help your favourite unsigned artist or band by buying a piece of it.
An artist uploads a picture, biography and three songs that represent them as an Artist. The beautiful guys and gals at Life Goggles have decided to invest in UK/Australian artist Mandyleigh Storm.
“My family are originally from Southampton, UK, but we moved to Perth, Australia when I was young. I later spent 12 years working in the UK (around London). The last five years were spent in Maidstone, Kent, before returning to Perth in June 2005.”

There are 5,000 “parts” of Mandyleigh for sale at $10 each. Once she hits the magic $50,000 she will be provided with an A&R person and a Producer, and get studio time to record her best songs. The bands investors (or Believers as they’re called on the site) receive a special edition CD, Mandyleigh receives regular CDs (to sell at gigs etc), downloads are made available online and everyone (Mandyleigh, Believers and record company) share in any profits made.
