Wear a Green Wedding Dress - Ethical Weddings

May 4, 2007 · Written by Joel

There are a few resources for those people who want their weddings to be as green and as ethical as possible.

Ethical Weddings is a site that provides a searchable database of ethical wedding services and products. They list charity shops to source your wedding dress (very popular at the moment, Oxfam has a shortage), organic food/cake producers, and ways to reduce the amount spent travelling by guests.

Ina similar vein, Portovert is a new magazine that offers wedding ideas that support a socially responsible and environmentally friendly lifestyle. Everything from organic knickers to powering your wedding the most eco-friendly way, the magazine is now on it’s third issue.

Great I’m always pleased to hear about good ideas to help save the planet, even though it may not be in our business interest. Good post.
